Schools and institutions

A world of possibilities

Every year, the H.C. Andersen Festivals presents a separate program aimed at schools and institutions.

The festival's school and institutional offerings

Every year during the festival, Odense is transformed into a melting pot of cultural experiences when the H.C. Andersen Festivals celebrates and explores the timeless universe of Hans Christian Andersen.

For kindergartens, schools, and other educational institutions, the festival offers a large and exciting program of cultural and educational activities that invite learning about both the well-known fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen and exploration of one's own creativity and identity based on the author's universe.

The H.C. Andersen Festivals aims to increase children's and young people's knowledge of Hans Christian Andersen and show that his universe is an artistic and cultural expression that is still relevant and meaningful today. That is why participation in the festival's activities for schools and institutions is free of charge – just remember to book the number of tickets you need as a teacher or educator.
